There’s nothing quite like a summer morning in the Hamptons—and for me, it always starts with an iced coffee.
As the founder of Elements Barre Fit, one of my favorite morning rituals before I teach my Barre and Pilates classes at Elements Sag Harbor is stopping for a great iced coffee. It’s how I fuel my workouts, my classes, and my busy summer days. Whether I’m heading to the studio or taking a few quiet moments after class, these are the places I find myself coming back to year after year.
☕ 1. Grindstone Coffee & Donuts – East Hampton
If you’re serious about coffee, Grindstone is worth the drive. Their cold brew is smooth, rich, and consistently one of the best on the East End. Pair it with one of their legendary donuts, and you’ve got the perfect summer morning.
Must Try: Cold Brew + House-Made Donut
☕ 2. Sagtown Coffee – Sag Harbor
Just minutes from Elements Barre Fit Sag Harbor, Sagtown is one of my favorite local stops. Their iced oat milk latte is fantastic, and it’s the perfect place to recharge before or after class.
Must Try: Black & Tan or an Iced Oat Milk Latte
☕ 3. Goldberg’s Famous Bagels – Water Mill
No Hamptons coffee list is complete without Goldberg’s Famous Bagels of Watermill. Famous for its bagels, Goldberg’s has quietly become one of the East End’s most iconic iced coffee stops. Whether you’re grabbing breakfast before the beach or fueling up before a workout, their classic iced coffee always hits the spot. Even Katie Couric has shared that it’s one of her favorite Hamptons coffee stops.
Must Try: Classic Iced Coffee with an Everything Bagel and Scallion Cream Cheese.
☕ 4. The Golden Pear Café – East Hampton
A Hamptons institution, The Golden Pear Cafe has been serving locals and visitors for decades. Their iced coffee is simple, delicious, and the perfect companion to one of their fresh muffins or croissants.
Must Try: Iced Coffee + Blueberry Muffin
☕ 5. Jack’s Stir Brew – Amagansett
Jack’s is an East End classic. Organic, fair-trade coffee and an easy beach-town vibe make this a must-stop every summer.
Must Try: Organic Cold Brew
☕ 6. Hampton Coffee Company
With locations throughout the Hamptons, Hampton Coffee Company is one of the most reliable places for a consistently great iced coffee.

Fueling My Workouts at Elements Barre Fit 💜
Movement and coffee are two of my favorite ways to start the day. Before I teach my Barre and Pilates classes at Elements Barre Fit Sag Harbor, you’ll often find me making one of these coffee stops first. It’s the perfect combination—great coffee, an energizing workout, and everything that makes summer in the Hamptons so special.
Whether you’re joining me at the barre, heading to the beach, or simply exploring the East End, I hope you’ll discover a new favorite coffee spot along the way.
See you at the barre—and maybe in line for an iced coffee afterward!
XO,
Andrea Fornarola
